Amrut Kadhambam

Score: 67

The Amrut Kadhambam landed squarely in the “perfectly fine” zone of the tasting, interesting enough to hold attention, but not quite compelling enough to challenge the front‑runners. Its familiar mix of spice, tropical fruit, and layered cask influence gave it that signature Kadhambam character, and it certainly added colour to the lineup. Still, in a flight where other whiskies showed more cohesion, depth, or sheer charisma, it naturally settled into fourth place. It was enjoyable, distinctive, and worth discussing, just not the bottle that stole the night. *Club Notes* "Smokey nose nice finish." "You have to find the nose but then you feel like there’s something in there for a minute. Was a myth of course. Confusing drama and I’m not quite sure what it is about it, but I’m not into it." "Good nose (fruity and floral, light tho) and okay finish (peppery & oaky). Palate was too light, almost absent". "Great finish after the top nose and punchy taste."
