Ben Nevis 10 years

Score: 69

Ben Nevis 10 is a rich, characterful Highland whisky with a bit of an edge. It’s got a fruity, malty core, think stewed apples and candied lemon but there is also that signature funk and waxy depth that keeps things interesting. A touch of minerality, a little spice, and a slightly oily mouthfeel round it out. It’s not polished and pristine—it’s got personality. CLUB TASTING NOTES "Green Apples. Great nose. Aftertaste a bit much ethanol." "Still bitter." "Still good." "Taste is lacking." "Nose is medicinal. Palate is almost comparable to the 1st whisky." "Finish is rather short."
