Talisker Skye

Talisker Skye is a single malt whiskey with a rich, dark color and a smoky finish that fades into a cascade of honey, ginger, and pepper. It has a strong, pungent flavor of the sea and is very elegant. The whiskey has a few unfinished edges and feels like it is not quite rounded off. It is not a bad whiskey, but it is difficult not to compare this release to the Talisker 10 yo whisky.
